There’s so many new artists we can’t wait to welcome: the one and only André 3000, Sampha, Kae Tempest, Louie Vega with his new live show ‘The Elements of Life, Jazz icon Dee Dee Bridgewater, plus live electronic performances from Loraine James, Mala and Ron Trent.
On the DJ side, Moodymann’s Mahogany Music curates a special tribute to the late, great Amp Fiddler, alongside sets from Joy Orbison, Shanti Celeste, Chez Damier and TamaSumo & Lakuti with a ‘Your Love’ takeover. Dub & Reggae will be supplied by Channel One, Aba–Shanti-I, Dennis Bovell and Johnny Clarke, LTJ Bukem, Kode9, Sherelle, and DJ Storm represent the darker end of the electronic spectrum and WOH favourites Luke Una, Mr Scruff, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Coco Maria and Josey Rebelle make very welcome returns.
This year we’ll also be celebrating some big birthdays for our friends at Hyperdub, First Word Records, Eglo Records, On the Corner, Tru–Thoughts, Wisdom Teeth & WahWah45s (more info to come).
