With just over 3 months to go, the anticpation for We Out Here 2023 is heating up! We are delighted to share how the musical programme is looking so far…

Thursday 10th August

On our first day of We Out Here 2023, we’re straight into it! Once again, our Main Stage kicks off with some huge performances, this year set from new wave Junglist Nia Archives, the enigmatic black midi and the long-awaited return of Galliano. Meanwhile on Lush Life, we’ve got performances from Secret Night Gang, Madison McFerrin and king of UK Soul, Omar.

The nighttime programme opens up with take-overs from Rupture, Phonica Records (celebrating 20 years), Ella Knight with her House Party, and Voices Radio help open up the Two Tribes Campfire.

Friday 11th August

On Friday, our first full day, we can rely on Dave Okumu & The Seven Generations, Makaya McCraven, and a Madame Jazz take-over to ease us into things, whilst on Rhythm Corner we have a special 50 years of Hip Hop celebration with DJ Koco, Jehst, Sarah Love and Gilles Peterson b2b Lefto Early Bird b2b Elsewhere Sonido.

At Love Dancin’ it’s the turn of Mr Scruff’s annual takeover, with special guests Ade Fakile (Plastic People), Leanne Wright, Marshmello, Mikey D.O.N and Metalheadz celebrate 30 years on our Rhythm Corner stage. And our Main Stage welcomes sets from Meshell Ndegeocello, Goldie and Knucks!

Saturday 12th August

Roisin Murphy, Nubya Garcia, Mala & Joe ArmonJones, Marcos Valle…Saturday at We Out Here is shaping up to be a special one! In proper Saturday night fashion, Disco Disco take over our Rhythm Corner with an all-star line up of HUNEE, DJ Koze, CC:DISCO!! and Horse Meat Disco, whilst Josey Rebelle takes to The Bowl with Marcellus Pittman, Carista and Ash Lauryn.

Other highlights include V Records celebrating 30 years, BBE & Love Vinyl joining forces with Two Tribes and Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy brings Black Science Orchestra and NY’s Love Injection to Love Dancin’.

Sunday 13th August

Rounding out We Out Here 2023 on our Main Stage, we’ve got the legendary Brian Jackson, Sun Ra Arkestra, Black Star (yasiin bey + Talib Kweli) and Cymande plus new generation talent Ezra Collective, Yazmin Lacey and Chelsea Carmichael.

As is the Sunday tradition, Dingwalls will be at Love Dancin’ with Gilles Peterson, Patrick Forge, Marc Mac, Mafalda and special guests, Mr Scruff goes b2b with Aroop Roy after last year’s smash hit b2b whilst Lakuti holds down The Grove and Interplanetary Criminal, Flowdan and Tash LC close out the Rhythm Corner.
