Our We Out Here home is the idyllic grounds of Wimborne St Giles, Dorset. We’re easily accessible by public transport and ask our festival-goers to consider using these options wherever possible. By Train

The nearest train station to We Out Here is Salisbury. The journey from London Waterloo to Salisbury takes roughly 1 hour 20 minutes, with trains leaving around every half hour or so.

We will be running Train Station Shuttles from Salisbury station direct to We Out Here to make your journey as stress-free as possible. These will run on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th, from 10AM to 9PM, every half an hour.

The return journey will run from We Out Here to Salisbury Station on Monday 19th, from 7AM to 2PM.

By Coach

Once again, we will be offering carbon offset Coach Travels from cities around the UK.

This year they are running from Bristol, London, Leeds & Manchester.  They’ll pick you up from the city centre (exact location provided closer to the event) and drop you off in the festival, for a stress-free start to your festival.

By Car

If you plan on driving to We Out Here, please use the address: St Giles House, Wimborne St Giles, Dorset, BH21 5NA and follow the signs for Red Gate.  If you do have to travel by car, we please ask you to have a full car if possible. Liftshare is a good option to fill up your seats, and make some festival friends along the way!

Car Parking is available to purchase in either our General Car Park or Boutique Car Park. Please ensure you have purchased the correct car parking for the campsite you intend to stay in. Day Parking is also available for those with Day Festival tickets.

Weekend Parking covers from Thursday 15th August at 12:00 to Monday 19th at 12:00Day Parking will also be available for those with Day Festival tickets (in spring 2024). Please note Car Parking spaces are limited, and sold out in advance last year – so don’t delay to secure your spot.

We also have an Accessible Car Park for those who are camping in Accessible Camping or need an easier access point. Please email us at accessible@weoutherefestival.com to arrange this.

By Taxi

Taxis from Salisbury Station to We Out Here should cost around £42 for a normal car and £57 for a big seater, which you can share with your group and/or with any fellow attendees you meet on the train.

Taxis should be waiting in line at the train station so there is no need to call them, but in case they aren’t there when you arrive, here are some of the local tried and tested taxi firm numbers:

If you are being dropped off, please look out for the Green Gate.

By Bike

If you are cycling to the site there is a bike lock up point situated onsite (enter via Green Gate).

Although security is stationed within the vicinity, bikes are left at owners risk, please bring double locks for your bikes, just as you would elsewhere.

Can I stay in the local area and commute in every day?

Yes, festival goers can leave the site at any time but you will only be allowed back in between 10:00 and 21:30 each day.

What time does the car park open?

The car park will be open 24 hours from 12:00 on Thursday 10th until close at 12:00 on Monday 14th August.
