TRAVEL

We Out Here is held at Abbots Ripton in Cambridgeshire, just 70 miles North of central London in the East Anglia countryside. We are easily accessible by train (45 minutes from Kings Cross), and regular Train Transfers are available to purchase. We also run carbon-offset Coach Travel options via Tuned in Travel.

We ask you to please consider using public transport to make your way to us, helping to do your bit and reduce the environmental impact of travelling.

WHAT TIME DOES THE CAR PARK OPEN?

The car park will be open 24 hours from 12:00 on Thursday 25th till close at 12:00 on Monday 29th.

HOW CAN I GET TO WE OUT HERE?

We Out Here Festival is located at Abbots Ripton, Cambridge, PE28 2PH.

Just 70 miles outside of London, the site is easily accessible via public transport.

BY COACH:

We are partnered with Tuned In Travel to offer green travel options to the festival. In 2019 we balanced over 4,500Kg of CO2, with proceeds going to The Schools Energy Co-operative, who install solar panels on schools around the UK to provide them with affordable and clean renewable energy.

⁠This year we have more coaches on sale, from key cities around the UK. We provide transfers from:

  • Birmingham

Please consider using these coach options, which will be entirely carbon offset.

BY TRAIN:

The nearest train station to We Out Here is Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Huntingdon takes 45 mins on the train from London Kings Cross/St Pancras, and it costs around £30 normal return, £40 anytime return with trains leaving around every half hour.

We will be running shuttle buses to and from site on Thursday, Friday and Monday to ensure your journey is as stress-free as possible. Please purchase your tickets in advance via our ticketing page.

BY CAR:

All customers driving to site are requested to purchase a car parking pass per car in advance of travelling. Please ensure you have selected the appropriate parking area for the campsite you intend to stay in.

Anyone driving with spare seats to offer out, or anyone looking to jump in someone’s spare seat, please register interest with Liftshare. If you are driving to the festival please come with a full car!

If you are at all capable of travelling by train or via one of the coaches we are running please consider doing this rather than driving.

Driving to Abbots Ripton from London is approx 90 mins. Manchester 3hrs, Leeds 2hr 15.

CAN I PARK AT WE OUT HERE?

You can buy a parking pass in advance on the ticket page. Make sure to book the appropriate parking for the campsite you intend to stay in!

The car park is part of the festival site and all festival policy & terms and conditions apply to the car parks also.

CAN I RETURN TO MY VEHICLE FROM THE FESTIVAL SITE?

The car park is a part of the festival site! This also means all festival policy applies to the car park.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAMPERVAN/CARAVAN/TRAILER?

You will have to purchase a ‘live in vehicle’ pitch in addition to festival tickets for each occupant.

DIRECTIONS:

From the A1/A14 Junction (aka Brampton Hut)

Take the A14 towards Huntingdon Industrial Estate (ignore signs to Huntingdon)

At next roundabout go straight over (signposted A141 March & Ely)

Continue straight over the next three roundabouts.

The last roundabout will have a huge Tescos on it.

Shortly after, there will be a turning left (signposted Kings Ripton.)

Take this turning and follow the road down to the next crossroads.

Turn left towards Abbots Ripton (B1090)

The Festival is about a mile on your right – very hard to miss…
