When does the festival start and end?

We Out Here’s main gates open at midday on Thursday 10th August.

Once open, entry to site is between 12pm and 22:00. From Friday onwards it is between 10:00 and 22:00 each day.

Once in, you are free to leave the site at any time but will need to re-enter between 10:00 and 22:00.

The festival ends on Sunday 13th August at midnight, and all festival-goers are able to camp overnight, with campsite clearing on Monday 14th. We ask that all festival-goers leave site by 12:00 latest.

What access do I have with my tickets?

Weekend Festival tickets allow access to the festival site from 12:00 on Thursday 10th August until 12:00 midday on Monday 14th August.

Day Tickets permit entrance on the day you have purchased from when gates open. Day tickets do not include access to our general campsite and camping is prohibited: these areas are wristbanded separately.

Refunds

Unfortunately we can’t issue refunds on purchased tickets. However, for name changes on your ticket please contact Kaboodle via email at weouthere@kaboodle.co.uk

This will incur a £10 transaction fee.

If you have purchased Kaboodle cancellation protection, it will protect you from cancellation resulting from accidents and unexpected illness.

Are there any age restrictions?

We Out Here is a family friendly festival and welcomes all ages. However, we do require that all children tickets (under 18 years) are purchased with an adult ticket (18+ years) – with a maximum of 4x children to 1x adult ticket, and request that all under 18s are accompanied by the adult their ticket was bought with at the main festival gates on arrival.

Are Local Resident tickets available?

There will be local residents tickets available. More information available here.

Which forms of ID are accepted on entry?

We will only be accepting current versions of any of the following:

  • Passport
  • Photocard driving licence for UK and Northern Ireland (Full or provisional)
  • Pass card with hologram
  • Armed Forces/NHS Identification cards

Screen-shots or photocopies of any form of ID will NOT be accepted and we operate the challenge 25 policy so please turn up prepared.

What should I do if my ticket hasn’t arrived yet?

How do I organise a name change on my ticket?

The original ticket buyer will need to apply for a name change via email at weouthere@kaboodle.co.uk.

If I have a day ticket, am I allowed to camp?

Day ticket holders will not be permitted to camp, or enter the campsite.

This area will be wristbanded separately for weekend festival ticket holders.



Who is considered a Local?

A ‘local’ is anyone living in the villages of

      • Knowlton
      • Horton
      • Woodlands
      • Chalbury
      • Cranborne
      • Edmondsham
      • Gussage All Saints
      • Gussage St Michaels

All locals are eligible for a discounted ‘Locals Ticket’ to be purchased in advance of the event. Information on how to purchase these will be included in a letter drop.

Every ticket holder must provide proof of address and matching photographic identification, corresponding to your ticket, on arrival to the festival Box Office.

Who is considered a Resident?

A ‘resident’ is anyone living in the village of Wimborne St Giles.

All residents are eligible for a ‘Residents Guest List’ ticket, to be registered for in advance of the event. Residents Guest List tickets are free of charge, however we do politely request from all of our Guests a small donation towards our Local Community Fund (more information to follow).

Every ticket holder must provide proof of address and matching photographic identification, corresponding to your ticket, on arrival to the festival Box Office.

Tickets for Locals and Residents

Ticket links will be distributed via letter drop to eligible households towards the end of June / start of July.

If you think you should have received a letter, but have not done so by 10th July 2023, please contact us on community@weoutherefestival.com.

Local Tickets: 

  • Locals Weekend Tickets will allow holders access to the 4 days of the event, including general camping and a free car parking pass.
    • Locals Weekend Tickets will be £50 for those 15 years and up
    • Locals Weekend Tickets will be free for those under 15 years of age
  • Locals Day Tickets will allow holders access to their chosen day of the event and a free car parking pass.
    • Pricing for Locals Day Tickets to be confirmed.
    • Locals Day Tickets will be free for those under 15 years of age

Resident Tickets

  • Residents Guest List Weekend Tickets will allow holders access to the 4 days of the event, including general camping and a free car parking pass.

Festival Entry

If you are coming to site, you will need to follow the road signs for the festival to enter via the main festival entrance and you will be directed to park up and enter the festival via the Box Office at the Main Gate.

What time does the car park open?

The car park will be open 24 hours from 12:00 on Thursday 10th until close at 12:00 on Monday 14th August.

Bridleway / Road Closures

We’re currently deep in conversation with St Giles Park and the local authorities about exact access and traffic routes. We will make sure to update ticket holders and local residents about the exact plans in plenty of time ahead of the festival. Where can I get a site map from?

Site maps will be emailed to all ticket holders in advance of the festival.

Key Dates and Times

We Out Here festival production will be moving into St Giles Park from 27 July 2023, and moving out by 22 August 2023.

We Out Here festival customer arrivals will be spread across Thursday 10th and Friday 11th August, and departures across Sunday 13th August and Monday 14th August.

Licensed entertainment timings will be confirmed soon.

By 10th July 2023, a letter drop to all Locals and Residents will confirm the start and end times of each performance venue and sounds checks, and provide a Community Hotline phone number for contacting us 24/7 during the event.

Will there be showers available for campers?

Yes, there will be showers available in the campsites for all festival goers. Remember your own towels and toiletries!

Giving Back to the Community

In our first year we will be supporting a number of local organizations in the immediate neighborhood, as well as welcoming local business and performers to be part of the event. These include Wimborne St Giles School, Church and Village Hall and In Jolly Good Company

We would love to extend partnerships into the further surrounding areas and welcome ideas of local organizations that would benefit from a contribution, or would like to get involved in the event.

Will BBQs or campfires be allowed on site?

Unfortunately not. Any open fires or naked flames are prohibited at We Out Here for safety reasons. There will be no shortage of great hot food over the weekend from our on site stalls.

Can I set up a gazebo on the campsite?

Gazebos fall under prohibited items and will not be permitted at We Out Here. Please check the full list of prohibited items under our Terms and Conditions.

How to Contact Us

By 10th July 2023, a website update and letter drop to all Locals and Residents will provide details for contacting us 24/7 during the event, including a dedicated Community Hotline.

Is it OK to bring my own soundsystem?

No, please think about your fellow campers and keep noise to a minimum. There will be plenty of music over the weekend!

Can I stay in the local area and commute in every day?

Yes, festival goers can leave the site at any time but you will only be allowed back in between 10:00 and 22:00 each day.

What food & drink will be on-site?

We Out Here is proud to offer a range of street food stalls celebrating great flavours of the world. With plenty of vegan and gluten free options there is something for everyone.

How can I apply to be a vendor?

If you’re interested in trading at We Out Here 2022 please contact info@weoutherefestival.com.

Can I bring my bike?

There is a bike lock up point situated onsite, although security are stationed within the vicinity. Bikes are left at owners risk, please bring double locks for your bikes, just as you would elsewhere.

I can’t find my ticket?

Please email Kaboodle our ticket retailer on weouthere@kaboodle.co.uk and they will be able to help you locate your ticket.

Can I bring alcohol into the festival?

For Weekend Festival ticket-holders: 

Upon first entry to site, you can bring your own alcohol (for consumption on the campsite) up to the personal allowance of EITHER:

  • 12 cans of beer/lager/cider
  • 2 plastic bottles of wine per person. No spirits are allowed.

Once you have been wristbanded, you will not be able to bring in any additional alcohol.

All drinks have to be sealed on entry to the festival.

There is no set limit on soft drinks or food.

For Day tickets holders:

Day ticket-goers are not permitted to bring alcohol or soft drinks/food into the festival with them.

Exceptions are for those who require food for medical reasons.

Sound Management
  • Sound Levels set by Dorset Council EH will be monitored by specialised devices both on and off-site. The data from those devices will available to both our Sound Management Team and EH in real-time to respond to any issues.
  • We will have a 24/7 Phone Line to report any issues, which will be logged and responded to as required.
  • We have used sound modeling to inform all of our site and audio design to minimise off-site sound impact.
  • We will have Stage Managers and a Sound Management Team to ensure performance end times are adhered to.
