Cherise – She’s a Soul Girl at heart with a bold, punky attitude. Quickly building her fan base with her music and fresh personality, she was named by Clash magazine as ‘one of the women raising the bar for Soul and Jazz in the UK’. Cherise is one of the most sought after emerging young Soul singers and songwriters in the UK, hitting the ground running in 2021 with her EP ‘Remedy’, with 4 timeless songs that showcase her skilled songwriting and rich versatile vocal tone and range. And collaborating most recently with bands and artists including Steam Down, Rueban James, Omar and Nubiyan Twist.

Her potential has been recognised by some of the most respected Artists in Soul and Jazz. Including Gregory Porter, who invited her to sing alongside him for the 2021 Disney Christmas animation and worldwide campaign. She’s also currently on the road supporting musician and broadcaster Jamie Cullum, on his Spring European tour. Warming up the crowds in huge auditoriums solo, using just her voice and her bright blue Fender Telecaster to captivating audiences with voice, her bold musicality and cheeky charm.

Developing out of the UK Jazz Scene and the legendary Jazz talent developers Tomorrow’s Warriors, Cherise is on a similar trajectory for success as so many of her peers and friends, including Femi Koleoso (Ezra Collective, The Gorillaz), Oscar Jerome, Reuban James, Poppy Adjuda, Tom Misch, Yussef Dayes, Nubya Garcia, Steam Down to name a few.
